Before anything is installed, the installer detects your whole environment: PHP version and extensions, server settings, writable directories, then your MySQL/MariaDB server version and capabilities (utf8mb4, InnoDB). It only proceeds when every requirement is verified. Then it creates a new database and seeds default master data (7 roles, permissions, default GST rates, units, payment modes and an admin account). Estimated time: 1-2 minutes.
